NATHAN MOORE of BROTHER BEYOND Announced!
It’s more than 30 years since Brother Beyond had their first hit single and we can’t wait to welcome frontman Nathan Moore onboard Throwback the 80s Music Festival at Sea!
Brother Beyond was signed to EMI records back in 1986, but it would take two years and four singles for the band to achieve their first hit with 80s producers and industry influencers Stock, Aitken and Waterman with the Motown influenced The Harder I Try.
The song became a huge hit for Brother Beyond peaking at number two in the UK and narrowly missing the number one spot but for Phil Collins’ A Groovy Kind of Love.
The second single from SAW He Ain’t No Competition charted at number six and was followed by two singles that were written by the band Be My Twin and Can You Keep A Secret, while the album Get Even was a top ten hit selling more than 400,000 copies in December 1988 in the UK.
Brother Beyond split in 1990 following the release of their second album Trust and while the other band members pursued non-performing careers, Nathan went on to front Simon Cowell’s boyband Worlds Apart, until their split, as well as managing high profile UK artists.
Nathan returned to performing in 2006. He is an amazing performer and captivates an audience so we know he will be a huge hit when he joins the ultimate 80s party that is Throwback!
